“This weekend I was at the National Christian Youth Meeting in the village of Belozem – a truly unique experience. Upon arrival, a small “crazy” began – there were many of us and everyone was looking for a place to sleep, but this only added to the atmosphere. I met many friends I had not seen for a long time, and with whom I share unforgettable memories. The first evening we had a short game, through which we not only got to know each other better, but also recalled some of the most important lessons that the Pope Francis has taught us. The evening continued with adoration. This gave us the opportunity for a long and sincere conversation with God – to express our gratitude and get even closer to Him. The next day we had a lecture on the topic “Hope”, which was extremely interesting and for me personally – very instructive. We also had the opportunity to see the funeral of Pope Francis, with each of us writing a message in his memory. Later in the day, we heard testimonies of how God and hope had helped people who shared their experiences with us. The afternoon continued with a short walk, during which we prayed the rosary. The statue of the Virgin Mary was with us, and I personally found this walk to be purifying and inspiring. Then came the time for the fun evening, when each parish presented itself. We managed not only to get to know each other, but also to have fun. We also had a team game, which was extremely fun. Sunday came before we knew it. The day began with mass, and then there was a bit of chaos as everyone packed up and helped with the cleaning. Then it was time to leave. In addition to the official program, during our free time we talked, played various games, sang songs, and laughed a lot. Overall, it was an incredible experience that was extremely energizing. Not only did I have fun, but I also felt closer to God. And the food was great!”
