Summer camp for boys, 20-26.07.2020, Karandila

“Even this year we managed to organize the camp for the boys, though
obstacles caused by COVID-19. It was held from 20. to 26. of July 2020, in Dekotex hut, Karandila, town of Sliven.
There were 24 of us in total, less than last year, but enough for a camp. The boys were from Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, Yambol and the village of Kalitinovo.
At this camp, the children met the Old Testament prophet Jeremiah, who
was the main character for the whole camp and especially for the stage games. The topics were interesting and very well prepared by the organizers and animators. They had talked about “family,” “living as good Christians and honest citizens,” “the world and us,” and “the will.”
The daily programs had come up with interesting games and entertainment. In addition to them, a day hike was organized.
The camp is one of the many experiences that remain in the lives of many of the children, and we thank God’s protection that we were able to enjoy it together this year as well. ”

When I had free time, I walked to the forest between the rocks. In the evenings I participated in the camp program.The boys were terrible :-). They made different jokes with me, some of them were not comfortable for me, but most of the time I laughed with them. ”
