“Holiness was the theme of the camp, following the example of St. Jose Sanchez del Rio of Mexico, a martyr for the faith. The boys realized that the call to holiness was not only for elected people or only for monks and nuns, but for all Christians. God wants us to be holy; holiness is for us too! The key to it is to love God and your neighbor as yourself and to forgive. They returned home with the thought that being a saint in your daily life means making small and small gestures.
This year the camp was in Morulei Hut, near the village of Dalboki. The participants came from Sofia, Plovdiv, Rakovski, Duvanli, Kalitinovo and Stara Zagora. In total we were about 34 people.

The two Don Bosko Bulgaria Foundation volunteers – Janos Gergeli Toth and Jan Vrba, who work in Stara Zagora and Kazanlak for the Education vs. Poverty 3 project, 2018-2-BG01-KA105-048113, co-financed by the EU’s Erasmus + program, helped in the organizing and runing the camp. Big help were as well the volunteers from the Czech Republic who come in Bulgaria for one month to help us with the summer camps with children and young people.
