On the 27th of January the church St. Joseph in the city of Kazanlak was once again filled with guests. The occasion was the celebration of the 130th anniversary of the death of St. John Bosko, the founder of the monastic society of the Salesians. Apart from the children and young people from Stara Zagora, Kazanlak and Kalitinovo, with whom the Salesians are working, there came also animators (former and present) from Sofia, Plovdiv, Stara Zagora and Rakovski.
The solemn liturgy was hosted by HHE Bishop Hristo Proykov.
After the liturgy the children and young people from Stara Zagora, Kalitinovo and Kazanlak greeted the guests with a festive program consisting selected from them songs and prepared with the help of the EVS volunteers dances.
The new practitioner Jean Paul Mutombo, from the Republic of Congo, made a presentation telling the public how the christians in his country are celebrating that day .
The holiday ended with a treat for everyone, and after that – with games for the younger ones.
