“From 24th till 26th of February 2017 in the place of the Salesian fathers in Kazanlak was hold the second preparatory meeting for the Salesian animators from the two-years course. The course brought together young people from the parishes in Plovdiv, Svishtov, Tsarev Brod, Yambol, Kazanlak, Stara Zagora and Sofia.
The meeting was filled with many pleasant and warm moments. On Friday after the arrival of the participants was organized celebration of the birthdays of two of the youngsters. On the next day guest speaker was f.Yaroslav from Stara Zagora. He introduced the participants to the Salesian pedagogy, Father Petr Cvarkl hold a theme of the importance of the prayer in the life of every Christian, sister Yoana from Sofia presented the Order of the Sisters of the Eucharist. Young people had the opportunity to get to know the town of Kazanlak by an afternoon staging game, and visited some of the main tourist attractions. The evening ended with adoration in the church. This enabled the animators to remain in silence and to be able to hear the God’s voice. Each of them said their intention in prayer with sister Yoana and father Pter Cvrkal. Worship lasted over an hour. Young people felt the so necessary nowadays peace and unity with God.
Although they didn’t wanted, on Sunday the participants took their way to home. The time spent together, not only strengthen their friendly relations, but also their spiritual relationship with God.” Antonia Nikolova
