“On January 28 in Kazanlak Salesians celebrated the feast of its founder – St. John Bosco. Guests from different cities attended the feast. The Holy Mass was celebrated by His Eminence Bishop Christo Proykov – Apostolic Exarch of the Byzantine Catholic Church in Bulgaria. In his sermon Bishop Proykov talked about Our Lady of Fatima and Our Lady Help of Christians, particularly venerated by Don Bosco, but also he talked about the 23 years long noble mission of the salesian fathers in Bulgaria. After the liturgy children and young people from parishes “St. Joseph “, Kazanlak,” St. St. Cyril and Methodius “, the town of Stara Zagora and “Birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary “, town of Belene presented their program prepared for the feats. There were scenes, songs and dances. Especially interesting and professional was a dramatization based on motifs from “The Little Prince” presented by children and young people of the parish in Belene.
